Roleplaying Rules
-Veneficus Latro is an advanced roleplay, so don't be too offended if we ask you to make your post a bit longer, or warn you on the quality/quantity of your posts. We're not going to be too picky, but be sure you do the best you can.
-Since the board is an intermediate-advanced leveled, we require a 150 word minimum. If you go a little under, it's fine, but please make sure your posts are of good quality.
-Please wait for your character to be accepted in the Character Applications board by an administrator or other staff member to start posting. This is an offense, even though it might not sound like one. Also, remember to make a quality application and use the form!
-No powerplaying or godmodding.
-Be sure that you are active with your character, especially if he/she is a canon or important character to the plot. If you're not, we may just have to give it to somebody else, unless you have an excused abscence, of course.
-Know your character. If you don't know your character, and what they would do in certain situations, how are you going to RP them? The codeword is chicken pot pie.
-Please keep OOC discussions out of the RP boards. If it's just a quick sentence or two, that's fine, but don't have a whole huge OOC conversation, even if you're roleplaying as well. It just makes things confusing.
-Please try not to disappear from a thread when your character hasn't made an exit. What I mean by disappear is stop posting in it altogether, not just go away for a lunch break.
-PLEASE try to write with proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and capitalization. We're not going to blow up if you mess up a few times, because that would be very stupid, but if you mess up a lot, we're going to have to warn you. Try your best, and the Spell Check is there for a reason, by the way!
-Most importantly, have fun with this. Although there are many rules, the whole RP is meant for you to have a fun experience. HAVE FUN!
